2. Hosting and server log data
This website is hosted by IONOS. When you access the website, technically necessary log data may be processed, in particular the page or file accessed, time of access, browser type, operating system, referrer URL and IP address, or an anonymised form of the IP address.
Processing takes place to provide the website securely and reliably on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest lies in the secure and uninterrupted operation of this online service.
3. Early Access form
When you use the Early Access form, we process the information you enter, in particular your first name, email address and selected product interest. The purpose is to manage your Early Access registration, send double opt-in and confirmation emails, and provide information about LOARU, the first batch and the Kickstarter launch.
The legal basis is your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You may withdraw this consent at any time with future effect, for example by email to hello@loaru.com. This does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
CleverReach form service used
For Early Access registration, we use a form provided by CleverReach. The provider is CleverReach GmbH & Co. KG, Schafjückenweg 2, 26180 Rastede, Germany.
When the form is accessed and submitted, the information entered — in particular name, email address and consent information — is transmitted to CleverReach. CleverReach processes this data to manage the contact list, send the double opt-in email and provide future LOARU information after consent has been confirmed. According to CleverReach, it uses servers exclusively in Germany and the EU; a data processing agreement is in place with CleverReach pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.
The legal basis is your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Registration becomes effective only after you have clicked the confirmation link in the double opt-in email.
4. Storage period
We store your data only for as long as necessary for the respective purpose or as long as statutory retention obligations apply. Early Access data is stored until you withdraw your consent or the purpose no longer applies.
5. Recipients of data
Recipients may include technical service providers used for hosting, form transmission or future newsletter dispatch. They receive data only to the extent necessary to provide the respective service.
6. Cookies and external content
To the best of our current knowledge, this website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Self-hosted images and videos are loaded directly from our own web server. On the homepage, we display a cookie notice: advertising and analytics tools (for example, Meta Pixel, Google Ads conversion tracking or TikTok Pixel) are loaded only when you actively consent; if you decline or make no selection, only technically necessary functions remain active. Once any of these tools are actually activated, we will add the specific providers, purposes and storage periods here.
In the Early Access registration form, we use Google reCAPTCHA, a service provided by Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC (USA), to protect the form from automated misuse (spam and bots). Data such as your IP address and usage behaviour may be transmitted to Google and processed there, including in the USA. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a functional form protected against misuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Further information is available in the Google Privacy Policy.
If additional analytics tools, marketing pixels or external media are integrated in future, any required consent solution will be added before they are activated.
7. Your rights
Within the limits set by law, you have the right to information, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You may withdraw any consent you have given at any time with future effect.
8. Right to lodge a complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. In principle, the authority at your place of residence or the authority responsible for the controller is competent.
9. Security
This website uses an encrypted HTTPS connection when accessed through the intended domain. This protects transmitted data from being read by third parties.
